The Placement Basement is a new venture from the Careers Service that aims to bring services together from all over the university and outwith regarding placements for students. The service needed a distinct brand as well as remaining part of the Careers Serice area.

University of Dundee JobShop

The JobShop at the University of Dundee needed a front page that would show off the range of jobs available through the JobShop. The frontend includes a complete listing of all jobs available and filters content depending on whether users are within the Careers Service or not.

The site is also backed up by a completed JobShop Administration system which was built using PHP and MySQL.

Careers Service

The Careers Service at the University of Dundee wanted a front page that would entice students to enter, but would also display important information quickly and clearly.

The site also includes online booking facilities for events / duty sessions, online feedback forms and a huge range of information on a variety of career related topics. The site is backed up by an administration system to control bookings, send reminders and update details.
